Dr. Downes was very good, explaining step by step what she would be doing. She calmed my nerves, was very polite and professional, kept checking to make sure that I was doing okay and before I knew it she was finished with my dental procedure. I have never met a group of people that are so kind and caring for their patients. I was terrified of the dentist, Until I met Dr. Lawrence . He just makes you feel so at ease. A gentle, gentle man, And the patience that he has for his clients , Is beyond the Call of Duty. I cannot say enough about this dental clinic they are just fabulous . I didn’t like going to the dentist and they have made my experience there pleasant. I have not missed an appointment since then. I smile and laugh with the staff every time I go. Highly recommended. I was nicely greeted at the front desk and when I was taken into the room, the dental assistants were equally as kind and very knowledgeable. I felt immediately at ease, which is extremely hard to do for me in a dentist's office. When the dentist came in to give me my full exam, he was very thorough, honest, and comforting. Honestly, I could go on, but overall a positive experience, and definitely an office I would not only highly recommend, but one that makes me feel at ease going back to for my recommended treatments. read less

Same day procedure too! They made it the most comfortable experience to figuring out the root of my problem and pain. What we thought was going to be a root canal turned into an extraction.
Thanks to the staff for letting my cry, making sure I was comfortable, and finally giving me some relief. read less

The staff was exceptionally kind and caring to me even from the moment I made the appointment on the phone weeks ago. The woman at the front desk was caring and kind, they took me back quickly and the dental assistant was also super caring and made an effort to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Damargi was also very welcoming and explained to me exactly what was going on. I needed to get an extraction and for what can be a very scary procedure she made sure I was in the least amount of pain possible. She was also swift and very caring to explain my X-rays to me. I had to wait quite a while in the room as I believe they may be slightly short staffed, but I honestly didn’t mind because of the experience they provided. Highly recommend. read less

They were able to accommodate me in less than 24 hours. They were so compassionate, kind and caring. No lectures. No guilt trips. They explained everything that was happening with my teeth and what they were doing to help me. Arrived at my appointment, and was greeted immediately by the front desk with a friendly smile n a really nice welcome. I felt at ease, and comfortable.
As I was waiting to get my checkup I looked around, and was very pleased to see how super clean everything was!
Being a new office ,and a new patient I was very nervous when I arrived. But everyone was so friendly,n and knowledgeable, taking their time to explain everything to me. The young hygienist that clean my teeth was so gentle, and my teeth felt clean n fresh when she was done. The whole over all experience was very good one. I Highly Recommend Horizon Dental Lake Ariel HWY, Honesdale!

My teeth feel great after a cleaning and they make me as comfortable as possible for caps and root canals. A BIG PLUS is they allow me to set up a payment plan for costly procedures too. All this makes me a very happy patient!
The modern equipment is such a joy! The x-rays don’t hurt a bit- be gone cardboard cutting old fashioned x-rays! read less
