Dr. Zale is a highly experienced and accomplished dental specialist with expertise in periodontics and prosthodontics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Scranton in 1979, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Temple University in 1984. Committed to advancing his knowledge and skills, he completed a certificate in periodontics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990 and a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Louisville in 1992.
Dr. Zale has an extensive background in both clinical practice and academic settings. He served as a resident periodontist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Pittsburgh and later as a resident prosthodontist at the VAMC in Louisville. Following his residency, he dedicated 24 years to private practice in Dickson City, where he provided exceptional care to his patients.
As a leader in the dental community, Dr. Zale is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Prosthodontics. He has also played a significant role within the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), serving in various leadership positions, including delegate to the ADA, third district president from 2013-2015, and trustee from 2015-2017.
Dr. Zale remains committed to excellence in dentistry, continuously staying at the forefront of advancements in periodontics, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry. His dedication to patient care, professional leadership, and continued education has made him a respected figure in the dental community.
Dr. Zale resides in Scott Township and is a deacon at his local church. Outside of dentistry he has spent 4 years as a local Boy Scouts of America troop leader from 2007-2010.
