Covid-19 has changed many things about our daily lives, and that includes dental care. However, going to the dentist is still safe and dental issues rarely go away on their own; delaying treatment can result in worsening symptoms and complications.

Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things especially healthcare, but maintaining good oral health remains very important for your overall health. Due restrictions on dental offices during the Covid-19 shutdown, many patients missed their routine cleanings and other non-urgent, but necessary, treatments. It is important for them to get back on track soon rather than later to prevent future dental problems or unexpected emergencies.

Dr. John Evanish III, President and CEO, Horizon Dental Care, recently hosted a career night for the Pre-Dental Graduates and members of the Health Professions Organization from the University of Scranton. The students were recognized for their academic achievements and then had the opportunity to tour Horizon Dental Care.

Horizon Dental Care is nominated as a finalist for two awards, “Small Business of the Year” and “Best Practices in Marketing and Communications,” in the 2019 Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce SAGE AWARDS. Winners will be announced at the Annual Greater Scranton Chamber Gala on November 22, 2019.
